National Dairy Month: A message from MDAR Commissioner John Lebeaux
We are planning to be out in the field as much as we can this year! In honor of June is National Dairy Month, we’ll be doing some dairy tours at various places across the state next week, and we are planning out a variety of visits through fall. We’ve heard from many making inquiries; please contact MDAR if your operation or organization might be interested in a visit.
Speaking of Dairy Month, 4th generation dairy farmer, MDAR Deputy Commissioner, my designee as chair of the MA Dairy Promotion Board Ashley Sears Randle taped an excellent short video commemorating the occasion and toasting our MA Dairy Farmers (with a nice glass of milk, of course). In addition to the excellent message, I must report there are the inevitable wise guys in the background, mugging for the camera and generally carrying on, trying to get seen in the shot. Check them out! Thanks Ashley, and thanks to your talented (and cheap) production crew, husband Nick who allowed her “2 takes and 2 takes only!”
